reverting back to college life

I was asleep last night despite the jangling of luggage carts and the loud drunks outside my window... only to be woken at 1 with a loud blaring noise. Now I am a heavy sleeper and I could not discern what this noise was... eventually I figured out it was a fire alarm. so I got up in a state of utter disdain ready to curse the building outside that was causing this. I looked out my window and it was then that I realized the fire alarm was coming from my hallway. So I pulled on a sweatshirt grabbed my keys and left the building; it was only on the way down that I realized I had forgotten my wallet and if this was a fire I would surely want to save that but in my half sleeping state I decided to go onto the chapel... Everyone was in there groggy and yawning, except for a few youngins who had just returned from the bars, slurred speech and all!
Eventually the fire department got there and realized it was just a false alarm and we were all told we could go back to bed- lucky us, so back up the stairs I dragged myself only to realize that by this point I was really awake and I lay staring at the ceiling and almost missing the jangling and screaming that is usually present when I go to bed...
and now I must leave you; the bus for Bath is leaving soon!
